        ⇒ a + b = 12

        ⇒ b = 12 - a

Also, number is 6 times of the unit digit, here unit digit is b.

 ⇒ number = 6 * unit digit

 ⇒ 10a + b = 6 * b

           From above, b = 12 - a

 ⇒ 10a + ( 12 - a ) = 6( 12 - a )

 ⇒ 10a + 12 - a = 72 - 6a

 ⇒ 9a + 12 = 72 - 6a

 ⇒ 9a + 6a = 72 - 12

 ⇒ 15a = 60

 ⇒ a = 60/15 = 4

Hence, b = 12 - a = 12 - 4 = 8

 Therefore, number is ab or 48
