the sum of the digits of 2 digit number is 5 when the digits are reverse the resulting number us greater than the original number by 27 find the number​

Answer:

let the unit digit be x

let the tens digit be y

Number =10y+x

reverse number=10x+y

according to questions

x+y=5 ------------(¡)

again according to question

=》10x+y+27=10y+x

=》10x-x+y-10y= -27

=》9x-9y= -27

=》9 (x-y)= -27

=》x-y= -27/9

=》x-y= -3 --------------(¡¡)

from equation ¡ and ¡¡

x+y=5

_ x-y=-3

2y=8

=》y=4

putting the value in equation ¡

x+y=5

=》x+4=5

=》x=5-4

=》x=1

so the original number =10y+x

=10×4+1

=40+1

=41 answer
