The sum of the digits of a 2 digit number is 10.If the number formed by reversing the digit is less than the original number by 36 , then find the original number. from chapter - linear equation in one variable . plz help me .

here is your answer

x + y = 10 \: first \: equation
10x + y = x + 10y - 36 \\ 10x + y - x - 10y = - 36 \\ 9x - 9y = - 36 \\

from second equation we will get
x - y = 4 \: \: secod \: equation
By doing any method we get
x = 7 \\ y = 3
