The sum of the digits of a 2-digit number is 7. If the digits are reversed, the new number increased by 3 equals
4 times the original number. Find the original number.​

on further analyzing question we get to know the the new number is increased by 3

10y+x+3

then they have given the number is 4times the original number

4(10y+x+3)= x+y

4(10y+x+3)=7

on substituting this u get the answer

they said that if the digits are inversed it means from the above equation x is at tens place an y is at ones place this mean that they interchange there position which gives

10y+x
