The sum of the digits of a two digit is 8.if 36 is added to the number,the digits interchange their place.find the number

Let the no. at units place is x and tens place is y
then , given no=10y+x
also, x+y=8--------------------(1)
Now,
no. after interchange= 10x+y
Hence, a/c to question
10y+x+36=10x+y
9y-9x= -37
x-y=4------------------------(2)
Add 1 and 2
we get , x=6 y=2
Required no. = 26
