Step-by-step explanation:

let the no. at ones place be "x"

so, no. at tens place be "12- x"

original no:

tens ones

12-x x

so, original no.=1× x+10(12-x)

= x+150-10 x

original no.= 120- 9x

on reversing

tens ones

x 12-x

so, new no. =1(12-x) +10× x

= 12-x +10 x

new no.=12+9x

A.T.Q.

12+9x=120-9x +36

9x+9x=120+36-12

18x = 120+24

18x =144

x =142/18

x =8

so, the original no. is : tens. ones

12-x x

12-8 8

4 8

ans: 48
