Let the two digits be x and y.

Given, x + y = 11     -------------------------- (1)

          x = y - 5        --------------------- (2)

       substitute (2) value in (1), we get

            y - 5 + y = 11

           2y - 5  = 11

              2y = 16

                y = 8

Substitute y = 8 in equation (1), we get

x = 8 - 5

 x = 3.

So, the number is 38.

Hope this helps!
