Let the digits be x and y and the number be 10x + y.

Then, x + y = 11 and

y = 2x + 2

Substituting the value of y = 2x + 2, we get

x + 2x + 2 = 11

Or 3x = 9

x = 9/3 = 3, and

y = 2*3 + 2 = 6+2 = 8.

Thus, the number is 10*3+8 = 38.
