let the unit digit be x
So tens digit =12-x
number = 10 (12-x)+x=120 -9x
according to the question
10x+12-x -18=120 -9x
9x-6=120 -9x
9x+9x=120+6
18x=126
x=7
number =120-9x=120-9×7
=120-63
=57
