Answer:

number is 75

Step-by-step explanation:

let the number = 10x + y

A.T.Q

x + y = 12 ----------(1)

10x + y - 18 = 10y + x

10x + y - 10y - x - 18 = 0

9x - 9y - 18 = 0

9x - 9y = 18

divide by 9

x - y = 2 -------(2)

on adding eq 1 and 2

x + y = 12

x - y = 2

2x = 14

x = 14/2

x = 7

put x in eq 1

x + y = 12

7 + y = 12

y = 12 - 7

y = 5

the given number = 10x + y

= 10 × 7 + 5 = 70 + 5 = 75
