let the digit in one place be x and digit in ten place be y
10x+y
reversing the digit =10y+x
y+x=12 ________1
10x+y=10y+x=18
10 X +y - 10 Y - X = 18
18(x-y)=18
x-y=1-______________2
adding equation 1 and 2
y=13/2
putting Y in equation 1
x+13/2=12
2x+13=12×2
2x=11/2
