Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a + b = 4 , b = 4-a

the original number is 10a + b

10b + a = 10a + b - 18

9b  = 9a - 18

9(4-a) = 9a - 18

36 -9a = 9a - 18

2 *9a = 36 + 18

18a = 54

a = 54/18 = 3

3 + b = 4

b= 4-3 = 1

10a + b = 10(3) + 1

             = 31
