LET THE TWO DIGIT NUMBER BE xy

ACCORDING TO THE GIVEN QUESTION

x + y = 5 ... Equation (i)

10x + y + 27 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = -27

y - x = 3 ... Equation (ii)

ADD BOTH THE EQUATIONS WE HAVE

x + y + y - x = 8

2y = 8

y =4

Now, put value of y in Equation ii we get

4 - x = 3

x = 1

So, the two digit number is 14

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. be 10x+y

Given,

x+y=5

X=5-y......(1)

It is given if we add 27 to it the no. is reversed so,

10x+y+27=10y+x

9x-9y+27=0

Substitute (1),

9(5-y)-9y+27=0

45-9y-9y+27=0

72=18y

y=72/18

y= 4

The X= 5-y = 5-4 = 1

Therefore the no. is 14.
