The sum of the digits of a two- digit number is 5. The number obtained by reversing the order of digit diminished the original number by 9. Find the number.

Answer:let digit at unit place be x and at tens be y so no formed = 10y+x
also x+y =5
now when digits are reversed digit at unit place is y so no formed
=10x+y now
10y+x-10x+y=9 so
9y-9x=9.
Y-x=9 also
y+x=5 on adding
Y=x= 2 so
no is 32
