The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 6.On reversing the digits,the new number is 18 less than the original number. Find the number

Answer:

x + y = 6. (i)

l0y+x=10x+y-18

.-9x+9y=-18

-x+y=-2. (2)

Add (i) & (2)

2 y=4, y=2

x+y=6

x+2=6

x = 4

original No=42
