Step-by-step explanation:

Let, Unit digit = x

Tens digit = 10y

When the digits get interchanged, the Unit digit will be 10x, and Tens digit will be y.

According to the Question, the difference of the number and by interchanging the digits of the number is 18.

(x+10y) - (10x+y) = 18

x+10y-10x-y=18

9y-9x=18

y-x=2

We've been given that the sum of the digits is 8.

so we can form one more eq. x+y=8

y-x=2

x+y=8

From the first eq.

y-x=2

y=x+2....(1)

Substituting the value of y in x+y=8

x+y=8

x+x+2=8

2x+2=8

2x=8-2

2x=6

x=3

From (1) we can substitute the value of x.

y=x+2

y=3+2

y=5

Therefore, the required number is 53.
