Answer:

35

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the ten's place be x and unit's place be y.

According to the question,

x + y = 8             .....(1)

Original number = x(10) + y(1) = 10x + y

Reversed number = y(10) + x(1) = 10y + x

According to the second part of the question,

10x + y + 18 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = -18

x - y = - 2          .....(2)

By solving bothe eqns (1) and (2), we get,

x = 3 and y = 5

So, the number is 3(10) + 5(1) = 30 + 5 = 35

Hope this helps you!!!

Answer:

35

Step-by-step explanation:

Let or suppose digits be x and y

x+y =8(given)....... Equation 1

10x+y - -original number

10y+x- -reverse number

ATQ ( according to question)

10x+y+18=10y+x

10x-x+18=10y-y

9x+18=9 y

x+2=y

we finally get x=y-2.......... Equation 2

from eq1

x+y=8

(y-2)+y=8

2y-2=8

y-1=4

y=5.

so x=3

hence the number is 35
