Let the digits are x(ones digit) and y(tens digit)

A/Q to question,

x+y=8•••••••••••(i)

x=3y••••••••••••(ii)

now putting the value of x in eq.n (i)

3y+y=8

=>4y=8

=>y=2

eq.n(ii)=> x=3(2)=6

hence the digits are 2 & 6 and the number is 26
