Step-by-step explanation:

Let the units digit be y and the units digit be x

Now,

ATQ;

y + x = 9 ----------------(1)

Any two digit no. can he expressed in the form 10a + b in which b is the units digit and a is the tens digit. This no. is 10x + y

new number after interchanging the digits is 10y + x

ATQ;

10y + x = 10x + y + 45

=> 10y - y + x - 10x = 45

=> 9y - 9x = 45

=> y - x = 5. --------------(2)

Add (1) and (2)

2y = 14

=> y = 7

Now

=> x = 9 - 7

= 2

Since the no. is xy or 10x + y

the no. is 27
