let the number at unit's place be x and the number at ten's place be y.

therefore the original number is10 y +x.

from first condition,

x+y=9......... (1)

10y+x+27=10x+y

10y-y+x-10x=-27

9y-9x=-27....

y-x=-3

x-y=3.......... (2)

adding equation one and two we get,

x=6

by substituting the value of x in equation one we get, y= 3

therefore the original number= 10y+x

=10×3+6

=30+6

=36

therefore the original number is 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the unit term = x

Tenth term = y

Number = 10y +x

According to the question

X +y = 9 ............... (1)

Again, (10y+x)+ 27 =10x +y

10y+x +27 =10x+y

10y - y +x - 10x =-27

9y - 9x = - 27

9(y-x) =-27

y - x =-3 ............. (2)

Adding equation (1)+(2)

y +y =6

2y =6

y =3

Putting the values of y in equation (1)

x + 3 =9

x = 9-3

x =6

Hence Number =10y + x

= 10×3 + 6

=36
