The sum of the digits of a two digit number is 9. If the digits are reversed the new number decreased by 9 is equal to 4 times the original number. Find the original number.​

Number = 10y+x

x + y = 9...............(1)

(10x+y)-9 = 4(10y+x)

10x +y -9 = 40y + 4x

6x -39y =9............(2)

By solving (1) and (2)

x=8 and y=1

Number=18
