according to question,

10y + x = 10x + y + 27

10y - y + x- 10x = 27

9y - 9x = 27

y-x = 3.

x-y= -3 ( taking 9 as common from both the sides) ( equation I)

x+y = 9 ( equation II)

By adding both the equations

x-y = -3

x+y =9

2x = 6

x = 3

by putting value of x on equation II

3+ y = 9

y =9-3

y= 6
