Explanation:

Let the 2 digits be x and y

According to que

x+y=12----------(1)

Let the original number be 10x+y

Number after reversing the digits =10y+x

According to the que

10x+y+80=10y+x

=9x-9y+80=0

=9x -9y=-80---------(2)

calculating value of x from 1

x=12-y

substituting value of x in2

9(12-y)-9y= -80

108-9y-9y=-80

108-18y=-80

-18y=-80-108

-18y=-188

y =188/18

y=94/9

substitute xin (1)

x=12-94/9

x=14/9

original number = 10x+y

10×14/9+94/9

140/9+94/9

234/9

26

26 is the original number
