the two digit number is 11 ( given)

x + y = 11.

(10x+y) - (10y+x) = 9

9x-9y=9

x-y=1 ... (1)

x+y=11 ... (2)

adding equation 1 and 2 ,we get

x+y=11

x-y=1

2x =12

x=12. x=6

substituting x=6 in equation (1)

x+y=11... (1)

6+y=11

y= 11-6

y= 5
