let the no be = 10x + y

10x +y = 16

10y + x = 10x + y - 18

10y - y +x-10x +18= 0

9y - 9x + 18 =0

y - x + 2 =0

y = x-2

put in equation 1

10x + y =16

10x + x- 2 =16

9x = 16+2

9x = 18

x = 18/9

x = 2

y =0
