Ans.

Let the ten's digit be a

Let the one's digit be b

Hence the number is 10a plus b

According to question :

a + b = 3 (EQ.1)

And

6b = 10a + b (EQ.2)

from EQ. 1 :

b = 3 - a

Substituting value of b (above) in EQ.2

6(3-a) = 10a + 3-a

18-6a = 9a + 3

15= 15a

a = 1

Sub. Value of a in EQ.1

a + b = 3

1 + b = 3

b = 2

Hence , the number is 10a + b = 12.

Really hope this helps !

EQ. Stands for equation.
