Based on the identity, a 2 −b 2

=(a+b)(a−b)

We get,

a 2 −(b−c) 2 =[a+(b−c)[a−(b−c)]

⟹a 2 −(b−c) 2

=(a+b−c)(a−b+c)

∴ a 2 -b 2 +2bc−c 2

=(a+b−c)(a−b+c)
