Let Sⁿ = 3n²+5n
S₁ = 3+5 = 8
S₂ = 12+10 = 22
a₁ = 8
a₂ = x
a₁+a₂ = S₂
8+a₂ = 22
a₂ = 14
d = 14 - 8 = 6
a₃ = 20
∴, the A.P is 8,14,20
to find a₁₆ = a+15d
a₁₆ = 8 + 15x6
a₁₆ = 8 + 90
a₁₆ = 98
