Hey mate..
=========

Given,

S(n) = 3n + 5 ...........(1)

Putting the value of n = 1,2,3......in Eq. (1) we get,

S(1) = 3(1) + 5 = 3 + 5 = 8

S(2) = 3(2) + 5 = 6+5 = 11

S(3) = 3(3) + 5 = 9+5 =14

So, AP:- 8,11,14........

Here,

a = 8

d = 11 - 8 = 3

We now, need to find it's 16th term.

Therefore,

a(16) = 8 + ( 16 - 1 ) × 3

= 8 + 15 × 3

= 8 + 45

= 53

// Which is the req.d. term.
