the \: greatest2 \: digit \: number \: is \: 99. \\ first \: three \: multiples \: of \: 99 \: are \: 99 </p><p>\\ 208 \: and \: 297. \\ therefore \: sum =  \frac{3}{2}  \times (99 + 297) \\  =  \frac{3}{2}  \times 396 \\  = 3 \times 198 \\  = 594.
