Answer :-

  • The height of trapezium is 6cm.

[ Option. 1. ] is the correct option.

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find :-

  • The height of the trapezium

Solution :-

Given that,

  • The sum of the lengths of the parallel sides of a trapezium is 20 cm
  • Area of trapezium = 60cm²

As we know that,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h,

Where,

  • a and b are the two parallel sides of trapezium
  • h is the distance between the two parallel sides [ height ]

Assumption: Let us assume the height of the trapezium as h,

=> 1/2 × ( a + b ) × h = 60

Dividing 20 and 2 with 2

=> 1/2 × 20 × h = 60

=> 1 × 10 × h = 60

=> 10 × h = 60

=> h = 60/10

=> h = 6

Therefore, The height of trapezium is 6cm.
