Answer : Let the denominator be X .

Then the numerator will be 12-X

A.T.Q.

12-X/X+3 =1/2

24-2X=X+3

-3X =-21

X=7

Hence Numerator is 5

Denominator is 7

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator

=5/7
