the sum of the number of two digits and the number formed by reversing the digit is 110 and the difference between the digit is 6 find the number​

Answer:

assuming the digits be x and y .

the number be 10x+y

so, number formed by reversing the digits be 10y+x

as given;

10x+y + 10y+x = 110

11x + 11y = 110

taking 11 as common

11( x + y ) = 110

x + y = 10

also;

x - y = 6. [ given ]

now solving both the equations.

we get;

2x = 16

x = 8

so,

8 + y =10

y = 2

so, the digits be 8 and 2.
