Let the fraction be x/y

According to question

=  $x +y +3 = 2y$

=  $x= y = -3.................(1)$

Also

=  $x-1/y-1 = y/2y = 1/2$

=  $x-1 = (y-1)/2$

=   $x= [(y-1) / 2 ] +1$

=    $x = (y+1 )/2$

=   $2x = y+1$

=   $2x-y = 1................(2)$

Now

Substituting the value of 1 and 2

we will get

=  $2(y-3)- y = 1$

=  $2y-6 -y = 1$

=  $y-6 = 1$

=  $y = 1+6$

=  $y = 7$

=  $x= y-3$

=  $x = 7-3$

=  $x = 4$

So the fraction is x/y = 4/7
