Hey user

Here is your answer :-

Let the numerator and the denominator of the fraction be " a and b " respectively.
By the first condition given in your question we get equation

a + b = 2a + 4

》a - b = - 4. . . . ( 1 )

By the second condition given in your question we get equation

a + 3 / b + 3 = 2/3

》3 ( a + 3 ) = 2 ( b + 3 )

》3a + 9 = 2b + 6

》3a - 2b = - 3. . . . ( 2 )

Multiplying equation ( 1 ) by 2 we get ,

2a - 2b = - 8. . . . ( 3 )

Subtracting equation ( 3 ) from equation ( 2 ) we get ,

a = 5.

Putting a = 5 in equation ( 1 )

5 - b = - 4

》b = 5 + 4

》b = 9

So the fraction is a/b = 5/9

Thank you.
