the sum of the outer angles of polygon is twice the sum of the inner angle how many sides does it have ? what if the sum of outer angle and if the sums are equal?

Sum of exterior angles of a regular polygon =360°

According to the question....

sum of the outer angles of polygon = twice the sum of the

inner angle

360° = 2×((n−2)×180°)

or

or 2×((n−2)×180°) = 360°

or (n−2)×180° = 360°/2

or ( n-2)×180° = 180°

or n-2 = 1

n =3

so side of polygon is 3...means it is a triangle.

sum of outer angle is equal to the sum of inner angle when it is a quadrilateral...

both have sum of angles =360..
