a:b:c=1:2:3
a=1x;b=2x;c=3x;
after three years
(x+3)+(2x+3)+(3x+3)=45;
x=6;

Present ages of A = x+3, B = 2x+3, C = 3x+3
Sum of their present ages
x+3 + 2x + 3 + 3x+ 3 = 45
6x + 9 = 45
6x = 45-9 = 36
X = 6
So the present age of A is X + 3 = 6+3 = 9
