Answer:

Let the father's age be x

Therefore, son's age = 60-x

6 years ago....

father's age was x-6

son's age was 60-x-6

It is said that the father was 5 times the age of his son 6 years ago,

Therefore,

A.T.P

x-6 = 5(60-x-6)

=>x-6 = 300-5x-30

=>x-6 = 270-5x

=>x+5x = 276

=>6x = 276

=> x = 276/6

=> x = 46

Therefore, Father's age is 46

and the son's age is 60-x= 14

6 years later, the son's age will be 20

Answer:

Let the sons present Age be x years and father's present age will be (60 - x) years.

According to Question :

➳ (60 - x) - 6 = 5(x - 6)

➳ 54 - x = 5x - 30

➳ 6x = 84

➳ x = 84/6

➳ x = 14 years

Therefore,the age of his son after 6 years will be (x + 6) years = 20 years.
