Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

The sum of the present ages of mother and her daughter is 50 . After 20 years of mother's age will be twins her daughter's age that time .

To Find:-

Their present ages

Solution:-

Let the present age of daughter be x years

Present age of mother = (50-x) years

After 20 years,

Daughter's age will be x+20 years

Mother's age = 50-x+20 = 70-x years

Given is that after 20 years mother will be twise. So if we multiply 2 to the age of daughter after 20 years it will be equal to the age of mother after 20 years. So,

ACQ

∴ 2(x+20)=70-x

→2x+40=70-x

→2x+x=70-40

→3x=30

→x=30/3=10

Present age of daughter = 10 years

Present age of mother = 50-x =50-10=40 years
