Heya !!!

Let the present age of nakul and vipul be X and Y year's.

According to question,

X + Y = 45 --------(1)

After 3 years age of nakul = (X+3) years

After 3 years age of vipul = (Y+3) years

According to question,

X + 3 = 2(Y+3)

X + 3 = 2Y + 6

X - 2Y = 6-3

X - 2Y = 3--------(2)

From equation (1) we get,

X + Y = 45

X = 45-Y ---------(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

X-2Y = 3

45-Y -2Y = 3

-3Y = 3 - 45

-3Y = -42

Y = 42/3 => 14 years

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 45-Y

X = 45-14 = 31 years.

Age of nakul = X = 31 years.

And,

Age of Vipul = Y = 14 years.

Let,
Nakul's age = x
Vipul's age = y

××××××××××××××××

x + y = 45 [ given]

y = 45 - x ----1equation

=======================

After 3 years,

Nakul's age = (x+ 3) years
Vipul's age = (y + 3) years

According to the question,

x + 3 = 2(y + 3)

Putting the value of y from 1equation

x + 3 = 2(45 - x + 3)

x + 3 = 90 - 2x + 6

x + 2x = 90 + 6 - 3

3x = 93

x = 93/3

x = 31

Putting the value of x in 1equation,

y = 45 - x
y = 45 - 31
y = 14.

Then,

Present age of

Nakul = x = 31
Vipul = y = 14

I hope this will help you
