According to first statement,

P+Q=25+R……..Equation (1)

And,

Q=R+5………Equation(2)

Putting this value of Q from equation 2 in equation 1.we get

P+R+5=25+R

Cancelling R from both sides,

P+5=25

P=25–5

P=20.

So,P’s present age=20 years.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

p+q=r

(p+k)+(q+k)-20=r+k

p+k+q+k-20=r+k

2k+(p+q)-20=r+k

2k+r-20=r+k

2k-k+r-r=20

k=20
