The sum of the present ages of P, Q, R, S, is 80 years. Four years ago, the ratio of their ages was 10 : 7: 6: 9 find the difference between the age of P & R ?

32X = 76

X=76/32

=2.4

So,

10 X = 10 x 2.4 = 24 = P

7 X = 7 x 2.4 = 16.8 = Q

6 X = 6 x 2.4 = 14.4 = R

9 X = 9 x 2.4 = 21.6 = S

Difference between P and R = 24-14.4

= 9.6
