present ages of A and B =>A:B=2:3

Let the present age of A=2x years

Let the present age of B=3x years

therefore A:B=2x:3x

given that 10 years back the ratio of A and B was 3:5

2x-10/3x-10=3/5

5(2x-10)=3(3x-10)

10x-50=9x-30

10x-9x=50–30

x=20

present age of A=2x=2(20)=40 years

present age og B=3x=3(20)=60 years

The difference of their ages=60–40=20 years
