The sum of the radius and height of a cylinder is 24 cm and the total surface area of the cylinder is 3168 cm². Find the height and volume of the cylinder.​

Answer:

Sum of radius and height

= r + h = 24 cm

Total Surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

Putting value of r+h in Total surface area

2πr(24) = 3168

r = 21cm

Therefore height = 24-r = 24-21 = 3cm

Volume = πr²h

== 22/7× 21×21×3 cm³

==4156.32 c
