For the given equation :-

Method II :-

Calculating roots of the equation and than finding the sum :-

→ 3x² - 7 = 0

→ 3x² = 7

→ x² = 7/3

→ x = ± 7/3

Roots = 7/3 , -7/3

Sum = 7/3 + (-7/3) = 0

Sum of roots = 0
