Solution :-

Let the two consecutive odd natural

be x and x + 2

Therefore ,

According to the question,

x² + ( x + 2)² = 202

[ By using identity

( a + b) ² = a² + b² + 2ab ]

x² + x² + 4 + 4x = 202

2x² + 4x = 202 - 4

2x² + 4x = 198

2x² + 4x -198 = 0

2( x² + 2x -99) = 0

x² + 2x - 99 = 0

By factorization Method, we get :-

x² - 9x + 11x -99 = 0

x( x - 9) + 11( x - 9) = 0

( x + 11) ( x - 9) = 0

x = -11 or x = 9

[ Natural numbers never be negative ]

Therefore,

x = 9

x + 2 = 9 + 2 = 11

Hence, The two consecutive odd natural numbers are 9 and 11 whose sum is 202.
