Let the three consecutive positive integers be x-1 ,x, x+1 ,

=> (x -1)²+ x² + (x +1 )²= 50

=> x² -2x +1 + x² + x² + 2x +1 = 50

=> 3x² +2 = 50

=> 3x² = 48

=> x² = 16

=> x = 4

so, the nos. are 3, 4 and 5
