as,

x^2+y^2=208

or, x^2+(18x)^2=208

Or, x^2+324x^2=208

or,325x^2=(208)

or,x^2=208/325

or,x^2=0.64

or, x^2=(0.8)^2

so x=0.8

hence, smaller number(x)=0.8

Larger number(y)=18x=18×0.8=14.4
