The sum of the three successive terms is 18 and the sum of their squares is 180. Find these first three terms of the same series.

Let the three terms be x , x+1 and x+2

Their sum is 18,

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 18

3x+3 = 18

3x = 18-3

3x=15

x =15/3

x = 5

x+ 1 = 6

x+2 = 7
