  • Second Number = (2x+3)

A/C to question,

==> ( 2x+1)+(2x+3) = 394

==> 4x + 4 = 394

==> 4x = 394 - 4

==> 4x = 390

==>x = 390/4

Let,

  • the 1st consecutive odd number be = (2x+1)
  • the 2nd consecutive odd number be =(2x+3)

According to question :-

\sf→ (2x+1)+(2x+3=394\\\sf→ 4x+4=394\\\sf→ 4x=394-4\\\sf→ 4x=390\\\sf→ x=\frac{390}{4}\\\sf→{\fbox{\red{\underline{x=97.5}}}}

Now,

Putting x=97.5 in the considered number.

Then the numbers are :-
